WhosE birthday is it?
In honor of Phil Knight's 80th birthday, the PK80 Invitational(a college level basketball tournament) was held over Thanksgiving weekend, 2017.
Devin Gustafson and I were tasked by the Portland Trail Blazers to create a graphics package for the basketball games that weekend. Our animations were displayed across all of the digital screens in both the Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum in downtown Portland, Oregon.
The matchup graphics were designed procedurally inside of Adobe After Effects so that the animations could be easily updated and rendered out as the tournament progressed over the weekend.
